1) If you can pop your ears (valsalva manoevre) it's probably external ear infection and flying shouldn't make it much worse
2) The eardrops and cephalexin (if that's what you have) are appropriate for external ear infection and should kick in after a day or so
3) If however you have a lot of debris (crap) in your ear canal, this can prevent the drops from working and may need to be syringed out (by a doc - do not attempt this yourself and do not use cottonbuds/qtips)
4) If you're no better by this evening or early Sat, see a doc - to make sure it's not middle ear infection and to review treatment
