Hi Naikbis,

Suggest you head down south to Kuta Lombok.
Beautiful area wonderful beaches very peaceful and not totally touristy like the north.
See link below ( stayed there in 2006 and loved it) that suggests a great place to stay and a forum dedicated to lombok that might help with other information.
