Just returned from paradise.
Stayed @ Mecure Sanur great hotel quiet location though. I think I will book the Puri Santrian next time.
Took 2 year old son he had a ball with his nannny Rai. She came every afternoon from 3pm until 9pm.
Ate at our usual favourites in south Sanur,Caramel, Mezzanine, Bobbys, Donalds, Kesuma ( best seafood) and stumbled across Gardenia coffee house. What a great little spot. The best iced coffees and brekkies!! Great staff and food. Hubby got a tattoo and I was very inpressed with the cleanliness of the studio.
I was very paraniod about BB and dengue with a little one but no dramas just alot of hand sanitiser and bushmans repellant.
Hubby & Dad went parasailing and landed in the bushes not the ocean hahaha w can laugh now but not very funny at the time I was thinking broken backs lol.
Swimming with dolphins was great also.
Did a bit of shopping at Hardys for bubs and hubby but mainly spoilt myself by way of massage, facials, reiki sessions. Across from Mercure is a great little spa "Anti Spa" very funny name but clean and lovely girls, hair cut 50,000 reiki 50 000 massage 60,000 could have stayed all day there if I had gone by myself.
Had anxiety but no probs getting medications valisipam from doctor ( my version of bintangs lol)
food very expensive in hotel but so many great local eateries along the beach so share the love thats what I think.
Did get ripped off by money changer across from Puri however I was onto her straight away with the exchange rate being 8500 they try and hand over 805000 instead of 850000 every $100, only small change I suppose but still be wary.
So now I am off to book my next trip. :)
