Probably too late now as you are flying back saturday. Would suggest if the pain persists, get your doctor to send you to an E.N.T. (ear nose and throat) specialist A.S.A.P. According to ENT specialists GP's often misdiagnose ear problems.There are many things that can cause earache and painkillers can in some casesjust cover up the real problem.Cheers hope you improve before the flight back.
