BIMC does not take blood. This is only done at the Blood Bank in Denpasar.
BIMC keeps a list of potential donors so when needed they can be contacted. As as been said already the shelf life for blood is not very long. In emergencies the Blood Bank often calls BIMC for donors.
It's really good to put your name on the list but most importantly tell them when you leave.
Probably the easiest way would to email them with your info:
1) Name
2) Blood group
3) Dates in Bali
4) Contact number.
5) The area where you are staying.(This saves time in emergencies)
