budget hotels that's what the travel agents sell to the schoolies. The hotels have no idea who are coming until they get them. The staff are frightened of the kids (young adults), so don't do anything and in honesty who would front up to a group of drunk teenagers who don't know what they're doing....you wouldn't know what they were going to do to you.
Be aware that if the cheap flights come out again don't lock in to end of November beginning of December.
