LaW is cheaper than Masa for double/twin BUT in May the twin room we had was on the corner on the top floor - SOOOO hot - got sun from 3 sides. Aircon did nothing until about 9pm & at midnight we were still sweating. Hadn't had this prob before but apparently all their twin rooms are up on the top level now so I won't stay there again.

Masa is cheap for one person. A tad more exey than LaW for 2 &, although the rooms at Masa are smaller, ditto the fridge, at least you don't have to climb stairs to drop off/collect room key - at the end of a big shopping day, laden with heavy bags, the last thing I want to do is climb lots of steep steps for my key, then more stairs to the room. Masa has a room safe, staff are more efficient & brekky is adequate. Think they are owned by the same people - a group of Doctors.

For one night go for Masa. Even for longer.
