same trip a while ago and although my driver asked for less, we paid him Rp 700,000 for both trips, which I thought was fair price as he had to drive there to pick us up, then wait around for us as we were delayed, then we called at few places on the way. By the time he would have got back,it was most of the day. Then he drove to Ubud picked us up showed us a few places on the way back (I wanted to buy a quilt) He is a really great guy and took us on many full day tours, his fee for a day is $450,000 for 8-9 hours, which is really cheap especially if there is 5 or 6 people? He has a good air conditioned car and his english is good and he is very trustworthy and reliable. I was very happy with that price?
