as the other posters have said most hotels say no to your own food or drink but I usually take a small coloured water bottle with me if I want a scotch by the pool. Like your Husband I only drink decent brands ( yes its barbaric to mix with coke, but there you have it...lol) You just need to be discreet and I usually buy the mixers/ice in glass from the bar anyway. They do great cocktails at that bar BTW, enjoy!!
