Most establishments realise that most travellers have duty free, and it has to be consumed SOMEWHERE.
Once it is gone, there is a good chance that you will continue to drink in the same place, using the hotels bar services.
It is likely that you will be buying mixers and ice anyway.
Just have a look to see if there are any signs displayed which prohibits such consumption, if not just go for it.
I suspect that if you purchase a favourite snack at Circle K and choose to eat this in the vicinity of the pool you will not be evicted either.
