So pleased to hear you are "having a Do" on Cup Day for the John Fawcett Foundation.
Between myself and two friends we provide Education Assistance to FIFTY children in the financially deprived area of Amed and Culik, East Bali. Have been working with the JFF for past two years. We are also about to save three locals from having their motor bikes re possessed due to a downturn in employment in the area.
For all who visit Bali you know that bike transport is often the life blood for the family. To educate just one child is probably the cost of two good handbags!! The best part of sponsoring a child in Bali is that you can actually visit them and get to know their family each time you go, and many Forumites seem lucky to be able to visit many times. It gives such an added dimension to your trip. Have a great day Ron.
