Warfarin is a tricky drug; I was on it myself for 2 years due to a DVT & then PEs (pulmonary embolism) as a result. Something as simple as eating more or less leafy greens would affect my blood clotting, as greens have vitamin K in them, which can reduce the effectiveness of warfarin. A lifesaving drug, but can be difficult to control.
You do deserve another holiday, how unfortunate.
