Decided to check out a fairly new shop Hawaii Bali on the bypass today and was very pleased I did. It is where Courts used to be and a big warehouse style shop like Biarritz but rather than homewares it sells all souvenir type things. I was the only westerner there it was full of domestic tourists stocking up on souvenirs. T shirts, shirt, paintings, carvings,sarongs, sandals etc
o give you an idea of prices I got some beach sarongs for Rp15,000 each - nicer than anything I saw at Kuta market today. A pair of wooden sandals for Rp15,000, frangipani hair clip Rp5,000, beaded bracelet Rp10,000, Bali Tshirts for kids and teens Rp8,0000, croc style sandals for my son Rp29,000.
Definitely recommend checking them out.
