I have to share my excitement to people who would 'understand'

Just booked a lovely villa at Chapung Sebali up in Ubud for 7 nights in April 2011. It looks wonderful. Got a very good rate which is a lot less than their advertised rate. Can't wait. www.chapungvillaresort.com

Will make sure to post a review and trip report when the time comes.

Never actually stayed in the Ubud area before so should be interesting to compare with our previous trips to Nusa Dua, Sanur, Legian and Seminyak. Any helpful advice from the Ubud experts would be greatly appreciated.
