So there is no FIXED rate, but there is a discretionary rate.
That's fine.
The print out of any formal rate, whether related to commercial dealings or otherwise can only help in trying to "moderate" the customs officers discretionary powers.
I think that seasoned travellers know how it works.....as does the Indonesian Consulate in Perth.
