where we stay now at either of the properties you would like or suit.
Certainly not western (as I don't like western:))

They are open bungalows & even I was annoyed with the noise in the roof.
They are also basic & have ants, cats & an occasional snake up the tree...haha

We also had some very very noisy guests in their bungalows with loud music , talking & around the pool ..at both early in the morning and late at night.

Also had some creepy guy continually knocking on next door around midnight looking for the lady who was in there...stalkerish.
So I guess we may not stay there next time

That was at Kumpul Kumpul 3 in a 1 bedroom bungalow.
They are also quite expensive unless you stay for a longer period of a month or more.

So back to choices..

Not sure on your budget or how "unwestern" you want but..

Unfortunately Puri Damai might suit except they are going to put into effect their no children policy between 2-16 years.
They have recently had noise problems so are getting on top of it.

Not sure about noise at any of these suggestions (except Pisang Mas)but perhaps have a look and see what you think.

Kumala Hotel or Kumala Pantai
Pondok Sara
Niramaya
Pondok Mawar
Hidden Garden Villas
Villa Pisang Mas

These & others under Legian & Seminyak at link below
