Our return flight last month was changed dramatically. When we booked it had been a 1pm flight getting into Sydney at 9pm, which we were happy for as a change from always having to do midnight flights home.
The flight was changed to 1am out of Bali and into Sydney 9am the following day - back to the overnighter. They didn't send any notification until just over a week before we were to go to Bali, even though I'd noticed the changes on the online itinerary months earlier.
It pays to check regularly.
