Arrived at midnightish met by Adi who seems a little shy to hold up our meet and greet sign. "Hillary and the Kuta Kowboy". Can't understand why really.
We were met by the boss Whitey and Ketut Malam and shown to room No. 1. Whitey then insisted we joing him at the BRE for 2 really cold Bintangs while he chewed a door mat from one of the rooms and tried to tackle the Kuta Kowboy for a stubby holder, but failed. I do however notice that there seem to be fewer stubby holders so either the guests are knocking them off or Whitey has a stache somewhere.
Have stayed in most of the rooms but we like No1 bestest of all!!!I don't usually have room preferences but NO1 never moves around to confuse me always seeming to be in the same place at the end of the path thus cutting out the need to struggle with your key to open the wrong door!
It has cute little butterflies on the curtains and some abstract art. I love this desk. I can put all my stuff here and never lose my reading glasses. Oh hang on what's that the bloomin KK has left his dog food on my desk. Bluddy nerve he has the TV and is in a deep and meaningful relationship with the DVD player. Wouldn't you think I could have the desk to myself. I know I'll hang my undies on the TV to dry. That'll fix him. He also says that the shower head is at just the right angle. Don't know what that's all about.
All in all we are very happily ensconced. Ah well off to the beach. It doesn't take a whole lot to make us happy.
