Some guests paid $100 the other day for 2 (they were in the area),when they got to the top they asked other climbers what they paid and upon coming down they went to Tourist Police, got their money back and the "guide" spent the night in jail.
If you are going from Kuta, it should be the cost of a driver and then the cost of a guide.
Its a mountain for god sake, it's not lined in gold
