Help with airfares

We've been talking to some friends about doing a trip up to Bali with us in 2012 sometime so that their little monkeys and our little monkeys can have a ball together.

BUT we did to good a job! They're saying 'lets go for 10 days after Easter next year'.

I checked airfares which were not especially cheap and this is an issue because apparently you can't check in monkeys as baggage.

I'm wondering if people with more experience in these things can tell me how likely it is that the week after Easter in 2011 is going to be much cheaper much closer?
