I would suggest you make an appointment with a Centrelink Financial Services Officer and they will answer many questions in regard to the portability of a pension. There are exceptions for overseas medical treatments but I advise that you sit face to face with your questions already prepared. Every case is different and here is not the place to discuss your personal situation
