We (Dad, Mum & 12 yr son) stayed at "The Breezes" in Sept 2009.
We loved the hotel, we have room # 1 opposite the upper pool and next to the pool bar. The hotel itself was great the room was a bit on the small side but we never felt squeezed in. The food there was excellent, breakfast was much the same everyday but there was plenty to choose from. We did have room service quite a few time after long days of shopping - there wood fired pizza were great.
The staff at the hotel relay made us feel welcome, there was a kids activity going on everday to keep our son entertained and give us some time alone. We really love the hotel, it's staff but the location was not right for us, we have only ever stayed in Tuban and being that far out from all the familular places was not to our liking. We didn't like the fact that everytime we wanted to go shopping we had to jump in a taksi to go to Legion/Kuta. The taksi drivers out the front were very rude and wanting to rip everyone off, we would start to walk up towards Jalan Seminyak if we wanted a taksi. The Deli style shop next door was great for all your needs.
I hope this has not put you off this great hotel, I thinks that Seminyak is just too far out for us, may-be later on in life when we just want to chill it will be perfect.
