More details for Orphanage donations. In Ubud it is the Bumi Sehat Foundation just south of the Monkey Forest in Nyuh Kuning Village. www.bumisehatbali.org. An amazing Birthing and Education centre ALWAYS in need of baby items from pentavite to all baby items. Have just sent a huge suitase of towels, baby blankets, cotton beanies and booties with a friend.
She is a Nurse and had loads of maternity medical items. They are grateful for all they can get. Spend some time there to understand its wonderful work and concept. Well worth the added value to your time in Bali

Bali Kids is also doing excellent work with children in MANY orphanages throughout Bali providing much needed free medical and dental care. An Orphanage and the Mobile Medical Clinic is based in Mengwi 10 kilometres from Udud. www.balikids.org.
As previous forumite said Bali Kids will pick up from your hotel, but three drop off points are Gloria Jeans in Kuta Square, The Discovery Kartika Hotel, and Ahimsa Villas. Just clearly label your parcel. Bali Kids do a pick up run every two weeks.

I have been researching and visiting many orphanages in the past two years. Corruption can be a major detriment to the children. With Bali Kids they believe that by giving the children free medical/dental help that that cannot be taken off them. It is not a theory, it is put into practice three or four days a week as the Mobile Clinic travels north, south, east and west of Bali.
