Its a bit tricky as there is no liquids rule for the domestic leg to Darwin....but still the liquids rule for the darwin to Denpasar leg! Daughter travelled up to Darwin with the peanut paste (large jar!) in the back pack (we only had carry on luggage) but had it taken off her going into the departure area!! Grandson was giving the woman the evil eye........
Once you are in the international departure area you can buy your duty free (1litre p/p) and you can buy your extra to pick up on arrival back in Darwin even at that ungadly hour!!! Deb
