Yes you go domestic then when you get there check your luggage .Remember liquid limits etc little clear bag, sit around a few hours in darwin airport /you can usually get something to eat in the afternoon late at night less choice /we usually take a little esky bag with cheese crackers fruit few drinkies to ease the cost and terrible taste of awful airport food.Then fold up the empty little bag before you get on the plane. its not to bad .
