My repair man who is named Wayan is Balinese, all his family are Balinese but he is a Muslim Balinese and he had time off due to Idul Fitri. If some people are not working due to Idul Fitri then it does not necessarily mean those people are not locals...Sure there are many people who come to Bali to cash in on the tourism, but they as Indonesians have every right to do so and of course if they have a successful business then they deserve every cent they own for themselves and for their families.
Look outside the square...Those who have jobs whoever they may be are there because they made the effort.
If every person in Bali were only hindu Balinese then there would not be a lot of businesses running as they would all be at ceremonies every second day lol
