lotion repellent for your 10 month old and 2yr old. As I use it on my youngest (baby who is now 11 months old). You buy it here in Bali from either hardy's, carrefour, hypermart etc. Look in the baby section where they have all the lotions etc.
It's called "Zwitsal Skin Protector" It's in a yellow tube with orange writing and and an orange lid....And on the front it has a cross and it says "Baby Skin Guard Lotion with Citronella". It works a treat and is not harmful to bub.
Also a good thing to invest in is a an electric chargeable hand-held mosquitoe squatter...It looks just like a tennis racquet and you plug it in to recharge the batteries when it runs out. They are on average about 50.000. rupiah. You can buy them from most places in the electric sections. They are fantastic, no chemicals...when you see them just swat them with your mosquitoe racquet and they will be zapped. Can get these from Matahari's, hardware stores, carrefour etc. You will not be able to take it back on the plane though as they are not allowed at Australia. The Australian Customs declare them to be a bit dangerous if for example your toddler were to play with it and press the zap button while putting their tongue on it. But it really is just commonsense and dont let little ones play with it, just keep it out of reach.
I was actually told a little remedy today that if you use Listerine Mouthwash to spray around dooorways etc, that it actually deters mosquitoes. I haven't tried it yet but may be worth a try.
