Hi
my husband and i stayed (without the kids) at kuta lagoon in pool access room. I dont believe they have family rooms there, you might like to google and double check on their website just incase i missed it. So you would need to book 2 room to accommodate your family, they do have villas there, but they are expensive and i am pretty sure they only accomodate for couples maybe a third person.

a bit of info, beautiful hotel. but we didnt notice any children there, in the whole 10 nights we were there we saw one infant. But we went in august, so it wasnt school holidays.

breakfast is great, location is awesome, you set back off the street from all the noise, but your still close to loads of restaurants and shops, just around the corner from melasti street.

I have had friends with children stayed at adi dharma (their first time over there) and they said they would stay there again, it had everything they needed. and they were happy with the location

Last year we went with the children (1, 3, 6) and we stayed at the Febris in South Kuta (tuban) opposite the dynasty. It was great, we had a family room and it was huge, had a queen size bed, plus 2 single beds, a large fridge, not quite full family size, but almost, bathroom was huge, it was a clean hotel. quiet end of kuta, but still walking distance to mataharis, centro etc

One thing you need to look at when you decide on the hotel is how much time you want to spend at the hotel. If you want your holiday to be based relaxing by the hotel pool etc then spend extra and get the hotel that appeals to you most. but if you want basically somewhere to sleep cause you want to do adventures, shopping, etc then choose something basic if its just to sleep in.

we are going back with the children in feb and as they are so young and dont want to walk heaps and do shopping we are staying at the dynasty, where we can be based mostly around the hotel, they have kids club, themed nights etc, plenty to do.

if you have any questions i am happy to help with my opinion.
