I would suggest the Suryani Institute. Prof Suryani is an amazing woman and she does amazing work in the villages however she receives no govt funding and relies on donations to cover the cost of the medication as well as payment to assist the field workers who regularly check on the patients. You could either donate to the Institute or if you wanted it to be more 'personal' you could cover the cost of medication for one of the patients for say a period of one year. I believe the medication she is using (antipsychotic) costs about $10 a dose and this is given on a monthly basis. Most of her patients suffer from Psychosis and are chained or shackled due to their aggression.
