I have been a bit of a lurker as I have been enjoying you reports very much and haven't posted anything to let you know they are appreciated. We've also got a bass playing 15 year old son who is keen to scuba so I have been following you with great interest!
I've been particularly interested in your Lombok exploits as we spent 4 wonderful days in Sept.admiring it from afar from Gili T and are planning to spend a week or so on our next trip exploring it. Sounds like The Office is a favorite haunt. Doesn't sound like the family are keen to return?
Please take heart....I'm sure your reports are being admired and enjoyed by many from afar. I suddenly ended up ill and in hospital 2 weeks after our Bali return (sheesh holiday was definitely over)and followed you there on my Iphone also, I was drinking those wonderful lime juices and lolling around reading in the sunshine with you.
