A few years ago..well quite a few..we stayed in a losmen in Poppies 2 called Palm Gardens. We walked past it in January and it is still there! Only costs about $20 AUD a night! Great little rooms with tiled floors, seperate bathroom and a little verandah where breakfast was served each day (toast and black tea!)Dont know that the rooms have a fridge and there is no pool - but we were allowed to use the pool at the hotel next door. Great location - just up the road from Tubes (Surfers bar)...actually we found the accommodation through one of the surfing websites.
