FRIST THING WHEN YOU ARRIVE.....ASK FOR AN APARTMENT FACING THE POOL NEXT TO THE KIDS CLUB (OTHERWISE THEY WILL PUT YOU ON THE BYPASS SIDE OF THE HOTEL WHICH IS VERY NOISEY). My sister was very unhappy with the noise level coming off the main bypass in the morning, but my husband and I and the kids are used to noise as we all live on a busy road anyway. We stayed in the 3 Bedroom Apartment with a loft. There were 4 Adults and 7 year old twins. We travelled with friends who stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment and there were 2 adults and two children aged 7 which was plenty of room for them. They were placed on the BYPASS side too but asked to be moved due to TRAFFIC NOISE. We all thought the hotel had MAGNIFICENT accommodation, but again, I'd never stay there again because I really didn't like the location and we'd always miss the free shuttle bus....we were hopeless. Only pay 20,000rp and no more to get into Sanur. I think the 4 star rating is based purely on the apartment because the rest of the hotel could do with a little maintenance. If it's room to move you are after...then the suites are FOR YOU and if you feel like getting away from eachother...YOU CAN because they are so BIG. I thought the kids club was very good although I'm not sure you'd use it much because your children are still very young. When the kids do get a little older I can recommend the 'Bali Dynasty' in South Kuta. The kids club is BRILLIANT and the Atmosphere is Better than any kids club around, even far better than 'The Westin's' kids club in Nusa Dua. The Sanur Suites privide TWO MASSIVE WATER FOUNTAIN containers Free of Charge which is brilliant. There was a STOVE...but I refused to use it..We were in Bali of course and who needs to cook. The boys tell me it worked well, they only used it to boil water because they complained the hot water from the water fountain wasn't hot enough. If you want a decent sized CUPPA, bring your own mugs. You can buy anything from 'Hardy's Supermarket' and the shuttle bus stops at Hardy's. My husband bought CARTONS OF BINTANG from Hardy's TOO. There is also a place called 'The Wine Shop' on the Bypass for the wine drinkers, although the wine can be relatively expensive in Bali. Hardy's has everything YOU WANT and the kids need. I hope this helps you and don't forget....get a room AWAY FROM THE BYPASS. One last thing...I thought the buffett breakfast's were brilliant. We'd fill up in the morning...miss lunch and then have dinner. They have Breakfast Coupons at Receptions. If you decide to take advantage of their breakfast make sure you look into the money saving Breakfast Coupons.
