I was to leave for Bali 10am today and received a call from Virgin Blue at 6pm last night to inform me my flights had changed and I was leaving at 6.30am instead(check-in at 4.30am!) - also with a 7 hr wait in Melb instead of a 2 hr wait. I told her it wasnt possible and she offered us to leave a day later at the same stuff around time with a credit refund of our tickets! I was pretty impressed with that although still not happy as we lost our first night of accommodation...anyone been stuffed around too? Anyone been successful in complaining in these circumstances and getting the credit back in cash? - im definately going to try.
