if you want to sit and relax and drink try and get the end up near the bar but it will be the busier day. We've had rooms right near the bridge and never had a problem as we swim the whole pool length, we've also always had a baby/toddler with us so this was good for us as it wasn't noisy during nap times.
We have never been able to request rooms unfortunely (my 4th time coming up this month hubbys 5th) Last year though we were upgraded to a private villa with plunge pool because of overbooking. It was nice but my hubby is a social bee so we spent as much time in the bigger pool as we would've normally.
