we just got back from staying at the Dewi Sri on Friday... The hotel itself is nice.. The standard rooms are standard, having not been renovated yet, however are clean and tidy... the new superior rooms are beautiful... I would however request a ground or first floor room as we were on the third floor and those stairs become a killer after a while.. None of the rooms are far from the pool.. so I wouldnt think a pool view would be important.. Never noticed an issue with noise while there.
The staff were really nice and friendly, the food was lovely, and the service was great.. I would recommend this hotel..
The biggest downfall to this hotel is the alley you walk to get to and fro.. 'Running the gauntlet' as we called it.. There are a few stalls along the alley, which for the most part are ok.. but there are three in a row who will really push..
