I've only ever handed over 2000 getting out, but I did one trip from Vila Shanti down to the street leading to Stiff Chilli's, which is a bit longer than usual and the driver insisted on 3000. Does distance matter at all or was he just taking advantage of my ignorance (not that it matters over the few cents it is).
