We fly out of Brissy now heaps better than Syd but no decent flights from Coffs.
We drive up and stay 1 night in a hotel about 10 minutes from airport and get free parking at hotel for up to 4 weeks and get a cab to airport and depending on what flight you get back either stay another night at hotel or start to drive back.
You could go by bus but I dont know if they go to airport.
Its about a 5 hour drive from Urunga and from memory your now at Macksville so another 30 mins.
Maybe check if virgin flys from Port to Brissy
