Although I haven't stayed at villa mahkota I have stayed at other villas within the villa bugis group and also looked at quite a few. In my experience they are all like the photos/website.
The office staff are very good to deal with. They are always quick to respond to emails etc.
Unfortunately any posts regarding these villas are normally deleted very quickly by the forum management as they classify it as a form of advertising.
When I first thought of booking with them I was nervous as like you I couldn't find much info but was pleasantly surprised. I hope this helps a little
