had left on the sim card, I believe I've just read that if you have 100,000 rupiah or more on the card then it does last 6 months, anything under is lost. I wouldn't chance it working. If you have afriend in Bali they could check the number for you, if it's in hibernation then all they need do is add some credit to keep it active.
