Today I came across the information that in the back of Geger Beach beside the St. Regis another big hotel is going to be built. All the small warungs who took up business during the last years have to go. Also there will be no more sunlounges for rent. They already got notice that they will have to go in December. The only place that will stay is the big warung on the right with the small area in front for sunlounges. A new access road has already been built - the old one will be closed then. Until now nobody knows if the warungs will be allowed to move further in direction to the Nusa Dua Beach Grill.
It is a pity that this nice beach now gets also plastered full with hotels. There are not many places left in Nusa Dua where non hotel residents can rent a sunlounge and enjoy a day on the beach.
