At no time did I suggest that Zach was putting "all faith in complete strangers". If you read my post correctly you will see that I used the term "more faith".
I normally don't "look up websites and ask a doctor" for information on medical matters, as there are so many factors to be taken into account.
As for "asking what people who travel there a lot do", I would like to point out that I have been travelling to Bali for more than twenty years (sometimes as often as six times a year), and on several occasions for periods up to six months at a time. I, or any member of my family, have never had a vaccination of any description nor have we ever suffered any ill effects due to this choice.
I deliberately refrained from passing on this information as advice to Zach because I don't believe members of the forum have the right to advise on matters of a medical nature.
"Negative"? Positive I would say. (Although biased of course!)
