We have stayed every year at Kuta Lagoon for the last 4 visits (actually 4th will be this month). Last year we were upgraded to a villa with plunge pool as we had booked pool access and they had overbooked.
Loved it. Was a beautiful big room but when you actually work out the price of it compared to the pool access rooms it works out very expensive. It has a very honeymoon feel to it. The pool was great too especially as we have a toddler so was able to take him for quick dips early in the morning. But we also used the main pool.
BGH - we stayed there on my first trip and as a couple without kids wasnt that impressed as the place was desserted by 8.30pm so if they want nightlife they will have to go into Kuta. I can't remember if it was a standard room or deluxe but was bigger rooms vs kuta lagoon pool accesses. Nice big bed but I didn't like walking so far for the pool. It would suit us now as parents but we couldn't get in for the 1st week of our trip so we are doing 1 week at Kuta Paradiso and then 10 days at Kuta Lagoon Pool Access.
BGH is a big hotel in Tuban. Kuta Lagoon is smaller in Legian.
