Here was I looking forward to my first ever "by myself trip to Bali" in November. While I have been many times before with hubby, friends or family, this was going to be MY holiday. No-one to say to me "what, another massage" or "haven't you done enough shopping?". I paid $840 a few weeks ago to fly with Virgin Melb-Adel-Bali and then direct Bali - Melb on the way home. Anyway, to cut a long story short, my phone rings today at lunch time. It's hubby informing me that Jetstar are having specials on their Friday Frenzy fares, can I book him a fare? So, I check their website & sale doesn't start til 4pm. I thought "maybe I can just tell him it is all sold out" but no, he comes home early to go thru the booking with me. So, you guessed it, he got return to Bali direct for $536. That's with 20kg baggage on the way back. I couldn't believe it. He always falls on his feet the jammy ba***rd. So there goes MY nice quiet trip to Bali. I can't believe Jetstar's dates were for the exact dates that I am going. Was it meant to be?
