Hi Balilife,
No need to request another room, it is very close to the pool, a few steps away. The staff do walk down the side of the room to get to the kitchen but honestly we did not notice anything, especially at night and no noise from reception. It is one of the smaller deluxe rooms but has a wonderful outdoor area which is closed in on three sides and has a chairs and a coffee table, basically gives you a extra room and it is very private from other guests. Needless to say many a afternoon was spent relaxing there after a dip in the pool. For the money it is terrific value and I think you will be happy with it. When are you going?
