to Indonesia have been something of a sore point with some too.
But to be fair to the media people (who have to write about something after all) there has been a fair amount of positive stuff published and broadcasted about Bali too.
The ever growing tourist numbers and the proliferation of airlines and flights running the route (especially from WA) have been mentioned many times (often by the travel industry itself, but also by the general media)
It is just lucky that no one has bothered to really focus on the issue of either death or serious injury from drugging, surfing, swimming and motor bike incidents, not to mention misfortunes with fabric softeners.
Numbers surely much higher than a couple of Legionnaires who got sick.
Good to see that the rabies thing has abated somewhat, but no doubt will make another appearance as soon as other news (Bali 9 etc) runs short.
