from the little info I know about this Disease I thought it was only water tower type cooling (wouldn't think that this would be popular in Bali as it is so humid) that you could get it from and not Refrigerated Aircon so therefore spraying the aircon will not make a difference except possibly stinking the room out :-)
Chances are that these people go it from other water sources or soil
A couple of facts, drinking infected water has no effect and you can't catch it from another person.
I personally wouldn't be too worried about it
I will test out this over the next week that I am there.
