Left Perth on Saturday 28th, on the 7.30am Garuda flight, got into Bali about 1045, was through Immigration, collected baggage and through customs by 1120, the quickest we've done it up to now I think. Off to the taxi booth and no queue, straight in the taxi and in the Hotel by 1145, so 1 hour and getting settled into our room. Went down to S&S at 5, had a chat with Smudge and then at about 6.30 went to find somewhere to eat, ended up at Bali Bagus.
Next day Sunday, it was Carrefour time, so after a late breakfast at Legion Snacks, (our normal brekkie stop), we headed there for a few supply's, back to hotel, S&S again then Blue Skye's
Monday was Galleria day, got there latish, and did most shops, Ace hardware, Matahari, Hypermart, and a couple of others. Left late into chaos, taxi couldn't get onto Sunset so had to go towards the airport before turning round back to Legian. Allowed to go to S&S on my own and met Janno who I believe had just arrived, also Dennis and Jeff was in attendance. I said hello to a few others and chatted with Smudge again.
Tuesday was rest day as we were being taken to The Cat and Fiddle in Sanur, had a really good night as we usually have and got back late to get some sleep before running to the loo about 6am, had a feeling earlier in the day that all was not well on the tummy front and now is recovery time as tried to eat Wednesday night but could only eat a little and only one Bintang. Not good.
