Just a warning!
We have just returned from Bali with AA. I travelled with my small children aged 4 and 2 years and husband. On our return flight we had our seats allocated and had all been separated. Even though we had booked on the same web booking and with the same surname.
I did not check the boarding cards until we were at the gate in Bali. I had asked the ground staff if these could be changed and they said nothing could be done until on board.
Well you can imagine the chaos this caused and the flight crew had said we would be able to change seats once we had taken off. Well I'm sure those poor passengers did not want to sit next my children for this excitement. (even though that would have been some peace for me)
Lucky for us some wonderful aussies moved seats and rearranged the seating allocations so as we could sit together.
Anyway I did learn a valuable lesson to prebook seats or at least check seats at the checkin desk.
