A very very dry barren land, lots of limestone outcrops. The day we visited we had lunch at a cafe/dive shop/losmen type hotel. The hotel was owned/run by Russians and they put on dive tours. Very little English spoken by either the owners or the Balinese we encountered, the Balinese thought we were hilarious as they laughed at everything we said! Very, very laidback, food okay. We hired 4-5 motorbikes some with riders and we got a tour around half the island, we were looking for land to buy at that time. This was 3 years ago. Can't say that we saw anything worth going back for but then we weren't really looking for anything but the land.
