Happy hour at Besaki in Sanur and you were blessed with two opened long neck binnies for the price of one. Sure had to drink fast as the beer was only just tempered to start with.LOL
Bought a pair of sunnies in Sanur before jumping into a bemo, arrived in Kuta and the color had peeled of the lense.LOL
On our way home from Sanur to the airport the only transport available was the old type local bemo. The driver stopped, kicked out his local passengers returning their rupiah, turned his bemo around and took us to the airport.
People selling on the beach would give you what you wanted to buy and if you didn't have money on you, you paid the next day.
My memory must be deserting me, as i thought the exchange rate in 1983 was Rp750 to the AUD$ Ahh well.
